SWIFTCURRENT LODGE ON THE RIVER

Swiftcurrent Lodge is the perfect home-base for your adventures located just 300 yards from Rocky Mountain National Park and three miles from downtown Estes Park, Colorado. Other nearby attractions are Bear lake, Lily Lake, Emerald Lake, trail ridge road and so much more!

We are twelve charming units nestled on the banks of the Big Thompson River, six lodge units available year round, and six cottage units which are closed in winter.

OUR HERITAGE

The magnificent Rocky Mountain National Park is just a short hike from your back door. The trailhead from Swiftcurrent Lodge leads to Moraine Park and beyond. In season, you can catch the RMNP shuttle just one mile up the trail. We also border one of the largest YMCAs in the United States.

While staying at Swiftcurrent Lodge you can enjoy Trout fishing, hiking, snowshoeing, picnicking, watching the abundant wildlife, or just relaxing amidst the solitude of America's premier mountain range. Relaxing stream sounds all day long, great hiking, fishing and wildlife. The owners are very personable and will go above and beyond to make your stay everything you thought it would be. Planning to visit again soon if all the dates don't get booked up!

My husband and I just spent three nights in cabin 4. The room was clean and the king bed was very comfy. The kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed using the outside grill while sitting at our table next to the river. The location is perfect and so beautiful!

The Swiftcurrent Lodge provides a peaceful setting for your visit to Estes Park and RMNP. Walking distance to trails into the park as well as a beautiful location. Many units have a patio right beside the Big Thompson River. The hot tub is a nice treat with a beautiful view up the river.
